The Northwest Institute of Nonferrous Metals has made significant achievements in scientific and technological innovation, achievement transformation and incubation, and the cultivation of high-level talents. In a number of cutting-edge fields, including the basic research, material research, process technology research, application research, analysis and testing, and production and manufacturing of metallic materials, the institute has actively built national, provincial and ministerial scientific research bases and industry technology development centers, providing strong support for the development of key areas such as aerospace, nuclear industry, new energy, and life and health in China.
On February 26, Chen Liang, member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Inspector of the Northwest Institute of Nonferrous Metals, led a team to Hanyin County to investigate the technological transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the new materials industry. Liu Anqin, Deputy Director of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and Wu Kui, Standing Committee Member and Executive Deputy County Magistrate of the County Committee, accompanied the investigation.
The research team visited the production workshop and R&D center of Ankang Tailun New Materials Co., Ltd., listened to the introduction of the company's responsible person on product R&D, production application and market prospects, and communicated and exchanged with project managers on R&D content, direction, and current achievements.
The research team gave full affirmation to the development of the carbon-based new material industry in Hanyin County, and stated that carbon-based new materials, as an important part of strategic emerging industries, are of great significance to promoting high-quality regional economic development. They believe that the prospects for cooperation between the two sides are broad, and they look forward to further communication and cooperation to promote the effective transformation of more scientific and technological achievements in Hanyin, help optimize and upgrade the industrial structure, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and inject new impetus into regional innovation development.
