Ankang Tailun New Materials Co., Ltd. was established in 2021. With an investment of 205 million yuan, it has built production facilities with an annual capacity of 150,000 tons of high-power electrode paste, 50,000 tons of graphite boxes for negative electrode materials, and 10,000 tons of special graphite and other carbon products. The company is located in Hanyin County, in the Qinba Mountains, a region known as the "San Shen Gu Li", on the upper reaches of the Han River, the source of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project. It is a provincial-level key enterprise with a registered capital of 30 million yuan and 70 employees, including one senior professor, and three associate professors (including one senior engineer in carbon materials). The company has carried out in-depth industry-university-research cooperation with well-known universities in the national carbon and graphite material research, such as Hunan University, Northwest University, and Ankang University, and has established the Hanyin County Expert Workstation, the Doctoral Expert Workstation, and the Ankang Municipal Carbon Graphite Special Materials Engineering Technology Research Center.

The company highlights innovation, focusing on strengthening its main business of carbon-based materials and continuously promoting the high-quality development of carbon products in stages. Electrode paste products have been sold to major ferroalloy provinces such as Chongqing, Shaanxi, Ningxia, and Guizhou. Customers include state-owned enterprises such as the State Power Investment Corporation and China Minmetals Corporation, and products are also exported to countries such as Pakistan, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Ningxia Zhongwei Maoye Company, currently the largest customer in China for 2-meter diameter silicon iron electric furnaces, uses "Lun Jun" brand electrode paste, which has shown excellent performance and stability in recent years, solving the industry problem of the difficulty of sintering in the center of large-diameter electrodes. Jointly developed carbon graphite products—box carbon and fine-structure special graphite—are planned to be launched onto the market in stages to meet diversified needs. The company is a manufacturer in China that can achieve the full resource cycle utilization of "self-baking electrodes + new energy carbon boards + high-end special graphite" batch production. By using a unique homogenization short-process technical route, it has gradually solved the problems of insufficient anti-peeling and anti-thermal shock performance of special carbon products, and currently owns 3 national invention patents. Products are widely used in energy storage, new energy, metallurgy, photovoltaics, semiconductors, nuclear power and other fields.
